SlappyHands Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 25, 2026

Summary

SlappyHands does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app runs entirely on your Apple Watch and never connects to the internet.

What Data The App Accesses

  • Motion sensor data (accelerometer, via Apple's CoreMotion framework). Used only in real time to detect slap gestures. Samples are processed on the watch and are never written to disk, transmitted, or retained after the app closes.
  • Local app settings (via Apple's standard UserDefaults). The app stores one preference on the device: whether the diagnostic counter is visible. This setting never leaves the watch.

What The App Does Not Do

  • No accounts, sign-in, or user identifiers.
  • No network requests, analytics, or telemetry.
  • No third-party SDKs or trackers.
  • No advertising.
  • No HealthKit, location, contacts, photos, or microphone access.
  • No data sold or shared with third parties.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
